In November 2026 the world’s climate conference comes to Antalya. This is the book of that moment, written from inside the city by two people who live here: a reflection on what it means to host the world, illustrated throughout with original art. Signed by both authors and shipped from Antalya.

01 · WHAT IT IS

An invitation to see a city with new eyes

In November 2026, Antalya hosts the thirty-first UN climate conference. A city known for sun, sea and twenty million visitors a year becomes, for twelve days, the place where the world talks about its future.

Antalya’s Moment asks what that means for the people who live here, and what the city can offer in return. Not policy, the authors write, but perspective: two thousand years of rebuilding, a coast that already lives what the delegates will discuss, and a way of life that still keeps a human pace.

It is written by a husband and wife who see the city from two directions, one global and one rooted in Turkish soil, and it is illustrated throughout with original art. Not a guidebook and not a policy paper. An invitation.

03 · WHO IT IS FOR

For anyone who wants to know the city behind the conference

For anyone coming to Antalya this November, and anyone following from home, who wants to know the city behind the conference.

For the people of Antalya, who will see their own streets, markets and harbor described by neighbors.

For readers anywhere who wonder what a single place can say to the whole world. As the authors write: You do not need to visit this coastline to belong to this story.

04 · THE DEDICATION

To King Attalus II of Pergamum

To King Attalus II of Pergamum ..
Around 150 BC,
you sent soldiers to find heaven on earth
They found it; A beautiful coast where
mountains embrace the sea
You built a city. You named it Attalia
2,175 years later, it still stands
We call it Antalya now
Twenty million come each year
Heaven on earth endures
Now the world will gather here for a question:
Can we save this planet?
They call their meeting COP31
They have chosen your city
You knew .. some places are worth protecting
We are trying to remember what you knew
Thank you for Attalia .. Adalya .. Antalya
We will try to be worthy of it
We will Try
